AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
EquiMallorca is an independent equestrian publication. To fund our editorial work, some of the links on this site to external retailers are, or may in future become, affiliate links. If you click such a link and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay does not change.
How affiliate links are marked
- Product pages and buying guides that contain affiliate links carry a short note near the link or at the end of the page.
- Affiliate links are technically marked as
rel="sponsored". - Pages that link to a brand or retailer without any commercial relationship say so explicitly (“no commercial relationship”).
Which programmes we take part in
We take part in affiliate programmes through the Awin network. The retailers behind our product links today are TRI Equestrian (ships from Ireland) and Horse Shop DE (Horse Shop Landenhausen, ships from Germany), and on our German-language pages Ahipos Horses (4EVERGLEN UG, Waiblingen; feed supplements, ships from Germany to Germany and Austria only, so its products are shown only to readers there). We also work directly with EquiNectar (Tharos Ltd), which makes and sells its own feed supplements, through its affiliate programme on UpPromote; EU orders ship from the Netherlands, and EquiNectar takes 10% off the order for customers who arrive through one of its referral links – that discount is EquiNectar’s, not ours. Retailers change over time; the retailer behind a link is always named on the page („View at …“), and each retailer’s own delivery and returns conditions apply to your order.
What affiliate links do not change
- Editorial independence. Products are chosen by editorial criteria: relevance to riders and horse owners on Mallorca and in Europe, manufacturer specifications, price position and availability. Participation in an affiliate programme does not guarantee coverage or a positive assessment.
- No hidden testing claims. Unless a page states otherwise, we have not tested the product ourselves. Our texts describe what the manufacturer specifies and how we read it, and always say so.
- No paid placements. We do not sell product pages, rankings or ratings. Sponsored content, should it ever appear, will be labelled as such.
- Prices and availability come from the retailer’s product feed or, where a retailer has none, from its own shop, and are shown with the date they were checked. They can change at any time – the retailer’s own page is the binding one.
Product images
Product images on pages that link to a retailer come from the manufacturer’s press material or from the retailer’s or brand’s official affiliate product data and media library, and are used with permission and without modification apart from scaling. Required photo credits are shown beneath the image. We do not copy images from shops or social media.
